O-RAN

MVP-C Energy Savings Feature - There is a TSC MVP-C team for Energy Savings which co-ordinates and tracks work across O-RAN Working Groups (WG) and Focus Groups (FG)

WG1 Use Case Task Group (UCTG) has an approved Energy Savings Use Case. There is a useful O-RAN WG1 Energy Savings Technical Report which explains the O-RAN context and has references to appropriate 3GPP and ETSI documents

Work in WG4, WG6, WG7, WG10 is also relevant.

The Sustainability Focus Group (SuFG) works on Sustainability with Energy Efficiency and Savings being a significant aspect of the discussion. There are four task groups. SuFG TG1 covers Overall Use Case and SuFG TG2 covers EE Measuremnents. There

Test and Integration Focus Group (TIFG) covers specifications for conformance and end-to-end tests. The End-to-End Test specification includes a section for Energy Savings.
